What do you want?

Have you ever sat down and asked yourself that question?

What exactly is it that you want in your life?

Have you?

Have you dreamed it?

Wondered about it?

Most of us haven't. We barely make the time to slow down and breathe let alone ask ourselves what it is that we want in our life.

Just about every client that I work with is surprised when I ask that question during our first session. "What could you dream up, envision or imagine having in your life? How do you want to feel? How do you want to move?" Silence usually follows. Then quietly the response is "I don't know. I've never really thought about it."

Before I began working with my coach I never really thought about things like this. Dream? Imagine new things? Goals? You mean, wait. You mean, I have the power to change? I have the ability to make, create, do in my life?

Of course you do, Jenn.

And so do YOU!

Here is where it all starts….

With a question and then with a belief.

The question is simple: what exactly do you want in your life? Dream it, look for details, paint the picture. Make it real. Feel it. Experience the joy it would bring you. Experience the excitement it would bring you.

Then foster the belief. Foster the belief that it can happen. The belief that you have everything within you to do and have. Believe in yourself. Believe in the good you have.

Believe that you can.

That is where change begins. That is where life can surprise us!

It took me a long time to believe in me. Some days I still struggle with it. Some days I don't have much belief. But I always find it again. And then I start to smile. And then I feel inspired and then I ACT. Learning to believe in me, to believe that I could and to believe that I would has changed so much in my life. The real me now glows, I feel more alive, I am more fulfilled.

Belief and the act of dreaming what could be is so powerful. It can knock you over, surprise you, shock you and change you.

All you have to do is start with that one question: what is it that I want? :)

And then…

You never know what might happen next!

So, have you ever asked yourself what you want?

Have you started to believe in yourself and what you are capable of doing?
